2229 SC has been upgraded with specialize portable Linux computers to make a hands-on teaching classroom. Professor Christensen teaches a software programming class, Computers in Engineering, that now includes in-class coding and compiling. Engineering student fees were used to purchase equipment to upgrade this classroom. You can read more about this project and course in the February 2007 Essentials newsletter.
