A student who has a complaint about a policy or action taken by a faculty member (teaching assistant, instructor, professor) should first talk to the faculty member. If the faculty member cannot or will not resolve the complaint, the student should then speak to the Department Executive Officer (DEO or Chair) of the department in which the course is offered. If the DEO cannot or will not resolve the complaint, the student should make an appointment to speak with the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs.
The student should document all conversations and keep copies of any disputed assignments.
