Theatre Masters Competition

This is an annual ten-minute play competition open to selected MFA Playwriting Programs around the country.   One play from each program is selected for development and presentation in As pen and New York later in the academic year.  

The deadline for submission of scripts is October 30th, 2009.  We will send them out collectively in a single mailing on October 26th.  

There is a wire basket in the main office, behind Hillary for you to submit your scripts. It is labeled, so make sure you put it in the right one!

Important dates for the Competition:

• October 26th 2009: UIowa mails out scripts

•  OCTOBER 30^th 2009: Submissions due

• DECEMBER 18^th 2009: Finalists announced

• JANUARY 22^nd-25^th 2010: Aspen Workshop & Festival:

• New York City Showcase & Festival: Spring dates TBD
