Floodin' the Lot
Project Summary
The Hancher lot will be bursting with all forms of entertainment. Multiple stages will be set up showcasing University of Iowa music and dance students, high school dance teams, poetry readings, and local bands and a performance by William Elliot Whitmore closing the night, followed by fireworks. Along with pieces on the stage, there will be art displayed throughout the Lot from students and local artists. During the day, there will be booths from local restaurants serving food, as well as other businesses affected by the floods. Admission is $5, with all proceeds going towards flood relief in the community.
