Participants:  ~300 people in the Iowa City/Coralville area

We are planning to have "Make a Splash-Donate Cash" at the Coralville Community Aquatic Center in Coralville, IA on June 15, 2009.  A few months before the event we will send out e-mails, letters, and make phone calls to several businesses asking them to donate any services or money they would like to offer to this day or the flood fund.  We will also have people going around town advertising and selling raffle tickets.  On the actual day as people arrive, they will have to give a donation to enter the water park that will go to the victims of the flood.  We will be having free swim, scheduled water games, carnival games, snacks, dinner, and a concert.  Local businesses will donate food and prizes, so that we can have raffles, door prizes, and stands for food, in which the money will go the flood fund.  To commemorate the flood, we are planning on having flood victims come and tell their stories.
