Voting

Voting will begin at Noon on Wednesday, March 4, and will conclude at Noon on Friday, March 13, 2009.

To cast your vote, click on the VOTE image on any of the UIdea pages.  Voting will be conducted on a pop-up window, so please allow your browser to accept pop-ups and cookies.  Each person may vote once per day.  In order to vote, you will be asked for the following information:

• E-mail address:  We will use this information only to track that you have not already voted for the day.  You will receive an e-mail announcing the winner of each round.  At the end of the competition, we will delete the file containing voter e-mail addresses.
• University of Iowa Connection: We will ask if you are a student, faculty, or staff member.  We would like to see how many votes are coming from outside the university

Once you have submitted your vote for the day, a second pop-up window will appear that lists the current vote totals for each proposal.  We encourage you to vote each day (midnight to midnight) and to promote this competition with your friends and colleagues.  We reserve the right to nullify any votes that appear to be fraudulent.  Since this competition is a class project at the University of Iowa, any teams caught cheating will face the disciplinary measures outlined in the UI Student Handbook.
