Hello and Welcome to The University of Iowa Choral Audition Wiki Site! 

Auditions for Spring 2019 are now over for the semester.  If you would like to participate in a choir in the future, please audition in the first week of the Fall 2019 semester.

Thank you to all of you who auditioned this week!  Please click HERE to find the results of your audition.  PLEASE make sure and read all of the information at the top of the Audition Results page so that you know the deadline for registration.

IMPORTANT---Audition Form: Please fill out this Audition Form prior to your audition and bring it, along with your FALL semester class schedule, to your audition.

Audition Procedures: Each audition is a relaxed 6 minutes and you will be asked to do the following:
1. Sing simple exercises to show your range (how high and low).
2. Listen to some pitches we play on the piano and sing what you hear.
3. Sing part of a piece of your choosing or, if you do not have a piece to sing, we will have you sing something else you know; an accompanist will be provided for you if you bring a prepared piece.
4. Sing a few short examples of music we provide for you; including your part of a choral piece in which we play along.
