Small Scale Home Energy Integration is a broad topic that encompasses collecting, storing, and managing the energy for ones home.  This will provide the background for installing and maintaining a sustainable energy system.  The focus of the collection systems will be small solar and wind generation systems.  The storage systems will encompass taking the low voltage direct current electricity and converting into a usable form of energy through multiple systems.  The monitoring systems help to reduce the overall energy usage and switch consumption to off peak periods.

The topics that will be addressed in more detail will be:

Home Energy Assessment and Sizing the System

      System Overview

      Small Scale Wind

      Small Scale Solar Systems

      Battery Systems Overview

      Controller Systems Overview

      Inverter Systems Overview

      Home Energy Management

      Tax Rebates and Loans

      Economic Analysis
