Graduate Students from all disciplines at the University of Iowa are invited to present their work at the 14th Annual James F. Jakobsen Graduate Conference, held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Iowa Memorial Union!
The submissions website opens TODAY, Wednesday JANUARY 4th 2010 and will close on February 3rd 2012 at 5pm. It is time to start thinking about what you would like to present at the Conference!
The Jakobsen Conference is an annual conference for University of Iowa graduate students, organized by fellow graduate students. Held each spring semester, the Jakobsen Conference provides a well-attended, public forum for oral and poster presentations. The Jakobsen committee has experienced yearly growth in Conference participation and attendance, and we anticipate this trend will continue in the future.
Additionally, graduate students can choose to have their work judged by faculty for cash prizes. If you wish to have your work judged, please follow the instructions accompanying the electronic submission. All graduate students who apply will be accepted to present, regardless of whether you wish for you entry to be scored.
To use the electronic submission, visit the following link on the Graduate Student Senate Website: http://gss.grad.uiowa.edu/jakobsen-conference/application-and-guidelines
You will be prompted to login using your HawkID and password. After logging in, you will be taken to the electronic application.
