What

An Exploration of Identity, Gender, Pronouns and Tolerance using Uncle Vanya as a jumping off point.

Approach

Joint Stock Theatre/Max Stafford-Clark/Caryl Churchill method of creating a script through actor improvisations. Devising techniques. Storyboard plot line and in-rehearsal improvisations on topics/moments we want to explore physically and textually.

Goal

Present a workshop in the truest sense of the word. The end won’t be a full two-hour production, but maybe an hour-long evening of our explorations.

Perhaps a reading, staged reading or even just excerpts?
