The CHAMBER MUSIC SOCIETY of Lincoln Center, New York City's preeminent chamber music organization, seeks one responsible, efficient, friendly, self-motivated individual to be our new part-time Subscription Office Assistant. The Subscription and Ticket Services Assistant is the first point of contact for CMS ticket buyers. He/she represents CMS to the public and therefore, shall maintain exemplary customer service policies. The primary role of the Assistant is to assist CMS ticket buyers in any way possible. Candidates must be extremely organized, have the ability to multitask, have the ability to self-govern, be detail oriented, have excellent customer service skills, have a friendly pleasant personality, and enjoy working with the public. Knowledge of classical music is highly important however, we will also consider candidates who are interested in learning more about the chamber music world as well. Knowledge of Patron Edge Ticketing Database is also a plus but not necessary.
Duties include: processing phone and mail single ticket orders, assisting with concerts as required, processing subscription requests, database entry, filing, and additional duties as directed. This is a perfect part-time position for someone with a dependable schedule and consists of approximately 25 work hours weekly. The ideal candidate must also be available to work on Sundays as well as some weekday evenings. Applicants should have prior box office experience and be computer skilled.
