Are you creative, driven, passionate about the arts, and looking for a bridge between university and the world of professional theatre?  We invite you to apply for Seattle Repertory Theatre’s Professional Arts Training Program (PATP) for the 2011-2012 season. For more than 20 years, Seattle Repertory Theatre has fostered interns as they begin their careers in the non-profit arts world. Members of the PATP are fully integrated into their departments and engaged with all aspects of the company.

WHO?One of the largest and most renowned regional theatres in the country, the Tony Award-winning Seattle Repertory Theatre produces a mix of celebrated classics, recent Broadway hits and cutting-edge new works in two theatre spaces. A hub for the arts in Seattle, Seattle Rep is a rare example of a theatre both rooted in its community and at the forefront of the national theatre scene.

WHAT?The PATP is a season-long internship program designed to bridge the gap between the world of academia and the world of professional, non-profit theatre. Internships include arts management, production management, technical production, artistic, communications, graphics & marketing, lighting, stage management, and education, among others.

WHEN?The PATP is a full-time commitment of at least 32 hours per week throughout the theatre’s season (September through May). Interns receive a weekly stipend.Applications will be accepted beginning January 1, 2011. Applications are due March 15, 2011.
