Symphony Orchestra Sectionals

Locations:

FRIDAY, JANUARY 27

The ZHOU JIN piece- "New Year's Eve" will use personnel from the Mendelssohn Symphony, as follows: 

2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons, 2 horns, 2 trumpets, timpani, triangle, piano, and strings.

READ-THROUGH IS ON WEDNESDAY at 3:30. Thanks!

 

The orchestras will play on the Collage Concert series as follows:

March 31- UICO- Appalachian Spring (excerpts)

April 1- UISO- Shostakovich 5 (FINALE only)

April 2- AUSO- Dvorak/Meyer Slavonic Dance

UISO will play only DUMBARTON OAKS during the Hawkeye Honors Festival, SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 6:30 PM!
