On January 8th, 2024 the University of Iowa Wiki hosted at https://wiki.uiowa.edu will be shut down permanently. If you would like to continue using Confluence (Wiki) in the Cloud, you will need to request licenses by filling out this Workflow form if you haven't done so already.

For more information and other options for your content, please visit the Wiki Service Change Options and FAQs page. Your content from https://wiki.uiowa.edu will be available for migration upon request for two years (until 1/8/2026).

Within the new version of the Wiki you can customize your personal profile experience. The User Profile menu provides access to a range of personal customization options.  

You can find the Profile link by clicking on the Profile icon at the top-right corner of any Wiki page and then selecting 'Profile'. From there, you can edit some of the following options:

  • Choose Profile > Picture to upload a photo of yourself
  • Choose Favourites to view a quick link list of saved spaces. See Working with Favourites for more information
  • Choose Watches to view which spaces and/or pages you are currently watching. 
    • For any pages that you watch, you will receive email notifications each time the space is edited
  • Choose Settings > Email to set your notification preferences
  • Important Note: Passwords cannot be changed from the Profile > Settings page as users are externally managed within the Wiki
